ROLE OVERVIEW

The Merchandiser is responsible for managing product flow, inventory performance, and supplier coordination, ensuring alignment between product, production, and retail execution.
This role requires strong analytical capability, operational discipline, and a clear understanding of product lifecycle, inventory control, and market demand.

Responsibilities 

1. MERCHANDISE & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

  • Monitor stock levels, product performance, and sell-through rates.
  • Support demand forecasting and inventory planning to minimize overstock and stockouts.
  • Track sales data, inventory movement, and margin performance.

2. SUPPLIER & PRODUCTION COORDINATION

  • Assist in managing relationships with suppliers and distributors.
  • Support negotiation preparation, cost tracking, and order follow-up.
  • Coordinate between suppliers, production teams, and internal departments to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.

3. PRODUCT LIFECYCLE & PERFORMANCE TRACKING

  • Monitor product performance across retail and online channels.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to support product improvement.
  • Support pricing updates and margin alignment where required.

4. CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with Design, Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align launch timelines and promotional activities.
  • Support execution of collection launches and retail activation plans.
  • Contribute to cross-departmental projects as assigned.

5. REPORTING & CONTROL

  • Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory turnover, and supplier performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of orders, contracts, and delivery schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Background in fashion, textiles, merchandising, or related fields.
  • Understanding of fabrics, materials, and product construction.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics.
  • Good organizational, time management, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Knowledge of fashion trends, silhouettes, and product development is an advantage.

  • Salary: Negotiable based on interview performance and professional capability. Final compensation will be determined upon mutual agreement.
  • Working Hours:
    Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
